Sessegnon, who can operate as a left-back or as a left-winger, started his professional club football career at Fulham before making the move to Tottenham in the summer of 2019.
The England Under-21 international has had fitness issues this past season, and the talented and promising youngster failed to make a huge impact at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Earlier this month, The Telegraph reported that Fulham – who will play in the Premier League next season after winning promotion from the Championship – want to sign the 20-year-old on loan this summer.
However, Fulham vice-chairman and director of football Khan has made it clear that that is not the plan.
Khan told The Times about Sessegnon: “I am not interested. Ryan already played for us in the Premier League and he didn’t do enough to keep us in there.
“We get two loans and I can’t be in the business of developing other people’s players when they don’t have time to play them.”
Tottenham Hotspur stay
Sessegnon did not have a great season in the Premier League with Fulham in 2018-19, and his time in the top flight of English football with Spurs in 2019-20 was not brilliant either.
However, the 20-year-old is hugely talented, and he will get better and find his feet.
It would make sense for Sessegnon to stay at Tottenham and work with head coach Jose Mourinho.
