In the space of three seasons, Leicester City won the Championship, narrowly avoided relegation back to the second tier, and then somehow won the Premier League. It was an incredible achievement by the Foxes, and Newcastle United fans will be wondering if they can do the same as they sit top of the Championship.
The Magpies are favourites to achieve promotion to the top flight, and HITC Sport’s Michael Ramsay has been asking fans whether or not Newcastle can do what Leicester did last season.
While some fans are a little too optimistic about how they could do next season – assuming they do achieve promotion to the Premier League – other supporters are willing to say ‘never say never’ with Rafael Benitez in charge at Newcastle.
