Premier League action remains suspended due to the global pandemic, but German football made a return on Saturday afternoon.
Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga games were played in front of empty stadiums as the German league season resumed. Borussia Dortmund stole the headlines, beating rivals Schalke 4-0 at home.
In the second tier, VfL Bochum swept aside Heidenheim in a 3-0 win. That may not stand out to many fans in England, but Arsenal supporters may have paid some attention.
Bochum’s second goal was scored by Jordi Osei-Tutu – a promising talent on loan from Arsenal. The youngster showed outstanding footwork inside the box before firing a right-footed strike into the net.
Osei-Tutu played his part in a comfortable win, and Arsenal will be delighted to see him score. The 2015 signing from Reading went off to Germany as a full back, but has been used further forward in an attacking role.
The 21-year-old will hope that his exploits in Germany lead to chances with Arsenal, and Bochum sent a message to the Gunners on Saturday.

Bochum celebrated Osei-Tutu’s goal before asking if Arsenal are watching his talents. Unsurprisingly, the message received responses from Gunners fans.
Arsenal fans noted that they were watching Osei-Tutu closely, and begged the Gunners to use their young talents.
Others believe that he is better than Hector Bellerin and Cedric Soares, and could even be Arsenal’s version of Alphonso Davies if given the chance.
