Veteran UFC host Karyn Bryant has delivered an emotional and candid response after learning she will not continue in her role following the UFC’s blockbuster $7.7 billion broadcast deal with Paramount.
The announcement has struck a chord across the MMA world, with fans and fighters reacting to the end of an era for one of the sport’s most recognisable on-air figures.
After more than a decade behind the desk, Bryant’s words reflected both gratitude and disappointment.

Bryant addressed her future directly in a video shared on her social media, with the clip spreading widely after being posted on Instagram.
“I just want to let you guys know that after 14 years, my time at the UFC desk is over. I am not moving forward with them in the Paramount era,” Bryant said.
She added: “But I had an incredible time over the last 14 years. I have been doing this for so long. I started in combat sports with Showtime Championship Boxing in 2006. So I have been doing this a very long time, and I’m not stopping.”
The timing of her exit comes as the UFC prepares for major broadcast changes following the completion of its landmark Paramount deal.
For many viewers, Bryant’s presence had become synonymous with the promotion’s studio coverage.

Despite the disappointment, Bryant was careful to emphasise the positives from her long tenure.
“It’s a bummer. I had such a great time, and I wanna thank all the fighters for their candor when they sat down with us at the desk… I really did have a wonderful time. All good things have to come to an end,” Bryant concluded.
Her comments highlighted the relationships built behind the scenes rather than focusing on the business side of the decision.
Fans have praised Bryant for her professionalism and consistency throughout her UFC run. While her chapter with the promotion has closed, Bryant made it clear her career in combat sports is far from finished.
