Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react after Glen Kamara signed a new contract, taking his stay at Ibrox up to the summer of 2025.
What’s the story?
Well, at long last, Kamara has finally put pen to paper.
The 25-year-old’s contract situation was becoming a bit of a concern around Ibrox, but he’s now committed his future to the Gers for the next four years.
Kamara has made 115 appearances for Rangers since he was signed from Dundee for just £50,000.
It was arguably the best bit of business Rangers have done since the turn of the century, given how cheap he was.
Under Steven Gerrard, Kamara has come on leaps and bounds, while he’s also become a vital player for Finland – he now has 34 caps.
Of course, Rangers could still lose him, although it gives the club a stronger negotiating stance.
Where might Glen Kamara go after Rangers?

If this is just a way of protecting one of the club’s assets, then it’s worth taking a look at who could buy Kamara out of his new contract.
Over the summer, Newcastle were said to be interested in signing the Rangers No.18 according to TEAMtalk.
Elsewhere, Give Me Sport believed that Arsenal wanted to re-sign Kamara – the midfielder was with the Gunners from 2012 to 2017.

Hopefully, Kamara continues to play for Rangers for many years.
However, if he enjoys another fine campaign, Arsenal and Newcastle are just two clubs who could make Rangers an interesting offer.
For now, let’s see what the Rangers fans on Twitter have been saying about the club’s announcement…
