Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after spotting Gareth Bale do something ‘very smart’ in the 60th minute alongside Ledley King.

Having started on the bench, the Welshman was picked by the TV cameras alongside King, Lucas Moura and Steven Bergwijn, where they were being shown some tactics.

Bale can then be seen looking up briefly, before spotting the TV cameras filming King’s tactical briefing.

Clearly paranoid about Dinamo Zagreb potentially seeing the footage, the 31-year-old nudges King’s iPad upwards slightly, so the cameras won’t be able to see what’s on it.

It was a brilliant moment, which showed just how keen Bale is to make marginal gains and give Tottenham every chance of success.

Admittedly, it was also quite a funny moment, as there was no way the TV cameras – at the angle they were at – could have possibly seen what was on the iPad anyway!

Nevertheless, we loved what Bale did. It showed a desire to win at all costs.

We’d expect nothing less from a man who’s just arrived from Madrid with four Champions League medals under his belt, and two La Liga titles.

After winning one trophy, let alone a number of them, footballers tend to gain a hunger for more, which is exactly what we’re seeing from Bale.

Despite only coming into form recently, we’re sure that the No.9 has had a huge influence in the dressing room, bringing a winning mentality to the squad.

Let’s see what the Tottenham fans on Twitter thought of the 60th minute moment…
