Manchester City star Joao Cancelo has been speaking to Star Sports Football, where he’s answered some questions sent in by supporters.
One specific question put to the Portugal international asked him who his toughest Premier League opponent was, and he gave an interesting answer.
Cancelo said: “I usually chat with my teammates about it. It may sound strange but for me, the most difficult winger I have faced in the Premier League is Christian Pulisic from Chelsea.
“He is a very skilful and fast player with the ball with quick dribbles. So for me, he is the most difficult winger I have played.”
Even the 26-year-old admits it’s a strange choice!
That’s by no means intended as a dig at Pulisic. It’s more a case of him facing Europe’s best such as Mohamed Salah, Bruno Fernandes and Harry Kane since arriving in England.

Also, the USA international hasn’t really got going in England yet, following his £57.6 million move from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea.
However, it’s testament to his vast talent that he still caused someone as good as Cancelo problems, despite not yet hitting top gear in the Premier League.
The City man’s revelation may be of interest to Liverpool fans.

Why? Well, according to the Daily Mail, the Reds are keen to sign the 22-year-old, as are Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
If supporters were already keen to see Pulisic at Anfield, then they may now be even more in favour of the move, seeing as he caused a world-class player like Cancelo issues.
Jürgen Klopp knows the forward well having given him his Borussia Dortmund debut – keep an eye on this rumour, as in our view, it could have legs.
