West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club announced that Sam Field had joined Queens Park Rangers on a permanent basis.
Judging by the comments below, it’s safe to say the supporters disagree with the decision.
Field joined QPR on loan in January, and went on to make 19 Championship appearances as Mark Warburton’s side finished 9th.
The 23-year-old clearly impressed those at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium, as they have turned his loan into a permanent deal.
Field made 45 appearances for the Baggies after rising through their academy, scoring two goals in that time.
He even made three Premier League appearances this season, before West Brom loaned him out to aid his development.

Clearly, those at the Hawthorns don’t think Field is worth keeping.
The £8,000-a-week man has signed a three-year contract with the R’s, according to the BBC.
In our view, this is a real shame.
Field has shown good quality at times when playing for West Brom, and now that they’ve dropped back into the Championship, he could’ve been a useful asset.

QPR, who also play in England’s second tier, seemed to think he was worth having, so it is a bit of a strange decision from the Baggies.
The fans certainly seem to think so as well.
Let’s see what they’ve been saying about Field’s exit on Twitter…
