According to CalcioMercato, Liverpool are looking at Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby.
The French winger has been making waves over in Germany this season, he’s netted three goals in the Bundesliga, while he’s also got one assist to his name, and at the age of just 22, the attacker still has a lot of room to grow.
Diaby looks to be an exciting prospect, and one man who admires the youngster is Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel who was his manager at PSG.
What’s been said?
Tuchel has previously spoken about Diaby and it seems as though he’s a fan.
“Moussa is very quick, able to learn and assert himself,” Tuchel said, and it seems as though Diaby also appreciates Tuchel.
“Tuchel believed in me and gave me the chance from the start. He’s convinced you only win games at the weekend if you show desire and passion every day in the training sessions. I’ve learned a lot from him and he told me Leverkusen is a very good club for me,” Diaby said to Spox.

Perfect for Klopp
It’s no secret that Thomas Tuchel is a disciple of Jurgen Klopp, and if Tuchel is a fan of Diaby then it would make sense for Klopp to also be an admirer.
Diaby does sound like the type of winger Klopp likes. He’s absolutely rapid and willing to learn.
Add into that the fact that he’s becoming quite a regular goal threat for Bayer Leverkusen, and he begins to look like something of a perfect fit for Liverpool.
