Gabby Agbonlahor has slammed the ‘very petty’ Gabriel Magalhaes for his Twitter message mocking Ivan Toney after Arsenal beat Brentford 3-0, as he told talkSPORT.
Last season, Toney riled up the Arsenal fans after their defeat at Brentford by posting on Twitter ‘nice kick about with the boys’, well Gabriel, who kept a clean sheet against the England international over the weekend, served that message back to the player on Twitter.
What Toney had served, was getting dished back at him and he even shared that Aaron Ramsdale, who is now his England teammate, was ‘bantering’ him about the whole thing.

The reverse fixture at the Emirates is going to be interesting because Toney won’t forget about this moment.
At the end of the day, he started it, so he should be able to take it, but that doesn’t mean he won’t want to fire back himself again.
Former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor shared that he would do just that if he was Toney, but of course, Thomas Frank’s side have to pick up the three points first.
“That’s what Toney tweeted when they beat them last season,” said Agbonlahor. “I think Arsenal should be beating Brentford every day of the week.
“The squad Arsenal have got and the squad Brentford have got, then you have waited all that time to tweet that. I think it’s very petty from Gabriel. But players are petty.
“Would you tweet them if you beat them at the Emirates? I would tweet again,” laughed Agbonlahor. “Nice kick about again.”

THE REVERSE FIXTURE
Luckily for Arsenal, the reverse fixture between themselves and Brentford will take place in February and not during the last few weeks of the Premier League season.
Arsenal proved last season that they aren’t exactly getting over the dotted line as they should, and you could just envisage a team of Brentford’s standing upsetting things for them.
But, regardless of what happens in February between the two, there will still be a lot of football to be played, as Mikel Arteta’s side, despite sitting top of the Premier League at this moment in time, are still aiming for Champions League football.
