Well, Liverpool supporters might not be seeing Diogo Jota for a while longer.
The Portugal international missed his country’s World Cup campaign through injury.
Jota hasn’t kicked a ball for Liverpool since the victory over Manchester City in October and according to an ‘injury expert’, the former Wolves attacker, a £45 million signing by the Reds [The Athletic], isn’t close to a return.
Ben Dinnery revealed to Give Me Sport that the 25-year-old’s problem is ‘very much’ a long-term issue.
He said: “With Diogo Jota, it is slightly more complicated and it is very much long-term.

“He will be going out to Dubai but that is purely just to continue his rehab, and for a change of scenery, get a bit of sun on his back, and psychologically it can be a bit of a boost to get away and change your environment.”
This is terrible news if you’re a Liverpool fan.
Jurgen Klopp will need the former Wolves forward back as soon as possible because, honestly, they need him badly.
Klopp’s side are a staggering 15 points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal already, indicating that a title tilt is probably gone.
But it isn’t too late for Liverpool to finish in the Champions League places come the end of the season, with the Anfield outfit seven points behind fourth-placed Spurs right now.
Simply put, they won’t chase down that deficit until Jota is fit and firing.
He is such an excellent goalscorer and with Luis Diaz also injured, Darwin Nunez still adapting, Sadio Mane gone and Mohamed Salah stuttering, well suffice to say that they can’t afford not to have Jota fit right now.
