‘Very impressive’: Some Aston Villa fans want Derby man to replace John Terry

Aston Villa fans have shared on Twitter how they would like to see Liam Rosenior replace John Terry following his departure.

The 40-year-old, who was assistant to Dean Smith at Villa Park, left his role this week as he takes his next step in management.

There’s no doubt that Villa will miss the void left by Terry, both out on that training pitch and in the dressing room during games.

But despite him leaving, it has been suggested that Villa don’t have any intentions of replacing the former centre-back in their dugout.

However, Villa supporters would like to see their club nab Rosenior from the coaching staff at Pride Park.

Derby are currently in a mess, both on and off the field, with manager Wayne Rooney worried that they won’t even be able to field a team for their Championship opener.

Nonetheless, during Villa’s time in the Championship, Rosenior impressed the B6 supporters by how he analysed their games.

And some feel he could now be an excellent addition to their backroom staff in the Premier League.
