Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that it’s ‘very, very important’ to Dušan Vlahović and who he is going to be coached by amid Arsenal interest, as he told the Transfer Show on Sky Sports (17/01/22 at 5:10 pm).
The Sky reporter added that the interest from Arsenal for the much-wanted Fiorentina striker just ‘won’t go away’.
Arsenal are in need of more depth and quality in the forward areas, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang seemingly out of the first-team picture, whilst Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out-of-contract in the summer.
Mikel Arteta needs someone to either sign a new deal or be signed up from the transfer market in order for him to know who he can use as his number nine for the long-term.
Vlahović, who is 21 and has scored 17 Serie A goals this season, would certainly tick those boxes and a potential signing that would delight the Arsenal fans.
According to transfer expert, Sheth, he explained live on Sky that Vlahović is taking into account the coach that will be by his side on a weekly basis, amid talk of his future.
“Dušan Vlahović is a name that just won’t go away,” said Sheth. “We know that Arsenal have an interest in Dušan Vlahović.
“I spoke to my colleagues in Sky in Italy and the feeling they are getting is that Fiorentina would be open to a deal in this January transfer window.
“But it’s the player, and his representatives, that perhaps want to take a step back and reassess all of his options come the summer.
“Another factor he will take into account is the coach. That’s very, very important to him. He wants to know who will be coaching him, as well as the club he will be joining. That will be a factor in him joining as well.”

From the players Arteta has purchased in the market, a number of them are proving to work out and end those early doubts that were over their heads.
Aaron Ramsdale and Ben White are two of the players because they have probably been Arsenal’s best performers this term.
Someone like Vlahović would only add to the magic that Arteta is trying to create in north London and he would compliment those already in the forward line.
Arsenal fans will be dreaming at the thought of Vlahović linking up with Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka, to name a few.
