Sandro Raniere has expressed his delight on Instagram at Richarlison leaving Everton for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham announced this week that they have signed Brazil international forward Richarlison from Premier League rivals Everton.

The 25-year-old Brazil international has put pen to paper on a contract at Tottenham that runs until 2027.

Sandro Raniere is a former Tottenham and Brazil international defensive midfielder, and he is pleased to see his compatriot Richarlison make the move to Tottenham.

The 33-year-old wrote on Instagram, as translated from Portuguese: “Very happy . may you be very happy.”

Leaving Everton for Tottenham Hotspur is a step-up for Richarlison, who is a very good forward.

The Brazilian can play across the front-line and will be an asset for Tottenham head coach Antonio Conte.

Now, of course, we know that Tottenham have a very good attacking unit.

Harry Kane and Son Heung-min bang in the goals for fun, while Dejan Kulusevski has done well for Tottenham.

So, we do not expect Richarlison to simply walk into the Tottenham starting lineup.

However, the Brazilian will get chances to play.

Remember, Tottenham will play in the UEFA Champions League next season.

And, of course, there will be cup games, and you cannot pay Kane and Son in every minute of every game.
