While praising the performance of Marc Cucurella against Arsenal in the London derby, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has picked one particular Gunners star for praise.
Chelsea played out a 2-2 draw with Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The Blues were 2-0 up at one stage, but the Gunners staged a comeback in the second half and deservedly picked up a point from the encounter.
Some would say that Arsenal were unlucky not to be given a penalty.
Perhaps Mikel Arteta’s side could have won the London derby.
Marc Cucurella started the Premier League match for Chelsea.
Mauricio Pochettino on Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella and Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka
Chelsea head coach Mauricio Pochettino was impressed by the display produced by Cucurella at left-back.
While praising the Spain international left-back, Pochettino hailed Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka as well.
The 22-year-old England international winger provided the assist for Leandro Trossard’s goal in the 84th minute.

Saka started on the right for Arsenal and faced Cucurella.
Pochettino told Football.London: “Marc and the club decide to stay in the last transfer window.
“He is training well, that is why he playing like today, against a very good player like Saka.
“That is him, he deserves the credit because in the last few months he has worked hard and was able to play on the right side, yes, in this way, only what can happen is the team will be better.”
Bukayo Saka far from his best v Chelsea
I do not think that Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka was particularly great against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in London on Saturday evening.
Yes, Saka did provide the assist for the second Arsenal goal, but other than that, he did precious little.
Marc Cucurella kept Saka quiet.
However, we have to praise the Arsenal and England international winger for his assist.
That is what the best players do.
Even when they are not having the best of times and have been kept quiet by the opposition, they turn up in moments.
And that is exactly what Saka did in the London derby.
