Speaking ahead of Tottenham’s clash with Liverpool on Wednesday, José Mourinho revealed what he thought of one of Jurgen Klopp’s players.
When discussing the Reds’ injury problems, the ex-Chelsea boss said: ‘Salah is not injured, Firmino is not injured, Mane is not injured. Van Dijk is injured, and Van Dijk is a very good player, of course.’
Luckily for the Portuguese coach, he won’t have to face the colossal Dutchman tomorrow evening.
Van Dijk is still recovering from anterior cruciate ligament damage, sustained after a reckless challenge from Jordan Pickford in the Merseyside derby on October 17th.
If the former Celtic powerhouse was available, perhaps Klopp would’ve been able to rest a bit easier in regards to dealing with Harry Kane.

However, the German must place his trust in the likes of Fabinho, Joel Matip, Rhys Williams and Nathaniel Phillips to deal with the in-form Englishman.
Kane is, quite simply, playing the best football of his career. He has already racked up 15 goals in 19 appearances this season. However, that isn’t all.
Even when the ex-Millwall loanee isn’t scoring, his link-up play has been otherworldly.

Kane has recorded 13 assists this term as well, taking his total goal involvements to 28 in 19 games, which is absurd.
Klopp will wish he had Van Dijk available to deal with Kane.
In Mourinho’s case, he is probably thanking his lucky stars that the £180,000-a-week defender isn’t available, based on what he thinks of the Netherlands international.
