Sofyan Amrabat has been one of the best players at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, and there is no surprise that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool have been linked with the Fiorentina and Morocco international midfielder.
Morocco have reached the semi-finals of the World Cup, and Amrabat, on the radar of Premier League clubs Tottenham and Liverpool, has been a huge figure for the African side.
The 26-year-old has proved himself to be a leader in the middle of the park and has been arguably the best defensive midfielder in Qatar.
Morocco will face France in the semi-finals this week, and for the African side to reach the final, Amrabat will have to be on top of his game.
It will be interesting to see what happens with Amrabat in regard to his club future after the World Cup.
According to CM, Tottenham are ready to make a bid for the Fiorentina and Morocco international midfielder in January.
CM have mentioned Liverpool as another club from the Premier League who are keen on securing the services of the former Club Brugge midfielder.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners’ scouts reportedly have been blown by Amrabat’s performance for Morocco at the World Cup, and manager Jurgen Klopp now personally wants him at Anfield after getting fantastic reports.

When asked which player at the World Cup has surprised him the most, Enrique said, as quoted in MundoDeportivo: “The famous ‘8’ from Morocco, Amrabat was also very good, but the one I liked the most above all is Pedri. How he controls, how he shapes himself. And on a personal level he is spectacular.”
