Speaking on The Overlap, Gerard Pique has tipped reported Liverpool targets Pedri and Gavi to become two of the best players in the world.
Barcelona have a reputation for bringing through incredibly talented midfielders, and it looks as though La Blaugrana have two more gems on their hands here.
Pedri is the crown jewel of Camp Nou right now, but Gavi is hot on his heels.
Unfortunately for Barca, Liverpool have shown a real interest in Gavi as of late, while the Reds have also had a look at Pedri in the not so distant past.
What’s been said?
Pique spoke about Gavi and Pedri to Gary Neville.
“Which current young player do you think will be the best in the world?” Neville said.
“I think Pedri has a lot of chances, Gavi also is very very good for his age. We have great talents here in Barcelona right now, they have to grow and they will be better, but right now, they are still very good,” Pique said.

Superstars
Pedri and Gavi are already bona fide superstars After all, they’re key players for both Barcelona and Spain, and Pique is right, they could be the best in the world one day.
Inevitably, a midfield duo like this coming through at Barcelona will draw comparisons to Xavi and Andres Iniesta, and these two are on track to fill the void left behind by the two Barcelona legends.
The question is, will Barca be able to keep this pair? The Catalan outfit have huge financial problems, and with Liverpool sniffing around, they may struggle to hold onto their star youngsters.
