Some Tottenham fans on Twitter have been raving over Ryan Sessegnon after he scored his first goal for Hoffenheim.
The £25 million man joined the Bundesliga outfit on loan this season, and now he’s finally opened his account for the German club.
It was a typical Sessegnon goal as well, the winger used his pace to get in behind the backline, before firing past the goalkeeper from an acute angle.
It’s the type of finish we grew accustomed to seeing from Sessegnon during his time at Fulham, and we also saw a glimpse of it at Spurs with his strike against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Unfortunately, Sessegnon didn’t quite hit the heights expected of him at Spurs last season as a number of injuries kept him sidelined for vital parts of the season, but it looks as though this loan spell may help him get his career back on track.
Fans were understandably buzzing that he’d bagged his first goal out on loan, and we can only hope that this is the first of many for the youngster.
