Scott Parker told Football London that Leeds are ‘probably the best in the league’ at making the game ‘very erratic’.

On Friday night, Leeds piled more misery on Fulham, with the recently snubbed Patrick Bamford scoring and assisting for his side during a 2-1 win.

Whilst Bamford didn’t earn that England call he craved so much on Thursday, it didn’t stop the Leeds hitman from causing havoc at Craven Cottage.

Many teams in England’s top-flight are still getting used to Leeds’ all-action ways, but having faced them in the Championship, Fulham would have been disappointed with how they were sucked into their ways because of how well they know them.

This was touched upon by Parker, as he praised Leeds’ efforts.

“I was disappointed with that (getting sucked into Leeds’ approach),” said Parker.

“Leeds are probably the best in the league at making the game very erratic, very quick, fast, end to end and making you make decisions and making you play similar to them. That was the main factor here.

“We wanted to get some control with the ball, but never really got a foothold in the game. That’s probably credit to Leeds, it’s not just us that’s seen that.

“That’s why I tried to change at half time, to go a different route and if the goal (Lookman’s) goes in maybe it’s a different story, one off the line. We didn’t deserve anything.”

Leeds are now cruising towards finishing as the best of the three that were promoted last season.

As things stand, both Fulham and West Brom could be heading back down, which makes the job Marcelo Bielsa has done even more impressive.

But that wouldn’t be a surprise to the Leeds supporters because they haven’t just been used to it during these past few years but they have expected it and now it’s coming to fruition.
