West Ham United’s Arthur Masuaku has been linked with a move to Roma.

The agent of West Ham United star Arthur Masuaku has told Football Italia that there has been no offer from Roma for the left back.
When Slaven Bilic was searching for a left back to offer cover for Aaron Cresswell in the summer of 2016, West Ham swooped to sign Masuaku from Olympiacos in a £6million deal (The Guardian).
The Frenchman endured an up and down first season at the London Stadium, but has impressed this term under David Moyes, taking up a more attacking role with strong recent results.

Masuaku, 24, has registered two assists in 19 Premier League games this season, and he has won fans over with his recent display – but also won admirers.
With Roma poised to sell Italian left back Emerson to Chelsea before next week’s transfer deadline, and competition needed for Aleksandar Kolarov, Roma appear to have set their sights on Masuaku.
Tutto Mercato Web report that Roma have eyed up Masuaku for a move over the coming week, and the Hammers will be desperate to keep hold of him beyond the transfer deadline.

Now, Masuaku’s agent Francesco Lingenti has told Football Italia that there has so far been no offer for Masuaku, though Roma have been in touch over a possible move.
Lingenti added that West Ham want up to £19million for Masuaku, suggesting that it’s now a ‘very difficult’ deal to pull off this month.
“So far no, there has been no offer, just a few requests for information,” said Lingenti. “There’s nothing concrete at the moment. West Ham are asking for a lot of money to let him leave, around €20-22m, and he has a very high salary even for the Premier League.”
“It would be a very difficult operation to conclude. I have spoken to (Roma director of sport) Monchi, but not about Masuaku. There is nothing to report,” he added.
