Arsenal defender Ben White has already admitted to Twitch TV that the atmosphere has completely changed at the Emirates Stadium since he arrived.
Positive atmosphere at Arsenal
White only arrived at Arsenal in the summer, but the centre-back seems to suggest that when he first came the vibe around London Colney wasn’t quite as positive as it currently is.
That may have had some impact on Arsenal’s poor start to the season, where they lost their first three games.
Since then the Gunners have been much improved though, after a big team meeting.
Mikel Arteta’s side have now taken 10 points from their last four matches to climb up the table.
And White has noticed a big change at Arsenal already in his first few months at the club.
“When I first came it was a very different atmosphere to how it is now. It shows after the game, the passion we all have for winning a game of football and keeping clean sheets and getting results,” White said, when asked what his favourite thing about the current Arsenal squad is.
Encouraging for Arsenal
White’s comments are sure to be encouraging for Arsenal supporters, as their new positive outlook should lead to better results on the field.
Arsenal’s winning run did come to an end with a 0-0 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion before the international break, but White’s performance against his former side was solid.
White and Gabriel seem to have struck up a good partnership, with Arsenal now proving very difficult to score against.
The Gunners return to action in two weekends’ time when they take on Crystal Palace.
