Crystal Palace target Filip Kostic is expected to stay in the Bundesliga this summer with Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hutter telling BILD that the Serbian international is ‘very comfortable’ at the Commerzbank Arena.
With the summer transfer window set to come around again very soon, Eagles fans everywhere know exactly what it coming.
Wilfried Zaha spent pretty much all of June, July and August being linked with your Chelseas, your Tottenhams and your Arsenals last year and things are unlikely to be any different this time around.
The Ivory Coast international has hired super-agent and transfer market specialist Pini Zahavi in order to force through a deal to a Champions League club, according to The Mirror. So with another summer of speculation on the cards, it only makes sense for Palace to prepare for life without their fleet-footed talisman.
And, if The Sun (23 February, page 63) is to be believed, that is where Kostic comes in.
Though if you ask Hutter, an old-school, left-footed left winger is likely to stick around for at least another year in Frankfurt colours.

“I know he feels very, very comfortable with us and that he could certainly imagine staying here. And I know there is no concrete offer for him. As long as nobody pays the fee that Eintracht want, he will stay here,” Hutter said of a man who Inter Milan recently bid £35 million for.
“From a purely sporting perspective and as a coach, I would say that Filip must stay here, because he’s a very important player for us and fits in perfectly with the team as a person.”
With all due respect to Crystal Palace, a man who has 12 goals and 16 assists this season can probably aim a little higher than Selhurst Park.
And if Inter reignite their interest, Kostic looks a perfect fit for an overlapping left-wing back role in Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 system.
