Gary Lineker has praised Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez on Twitter after watching him score against Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Premier League today.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Everton striker was impressed by Nunez after the Uruguay international striker scored for Liverpool in the 2-2 draw with Fulham away from home.
The 23-year-old striker came on as a substitute in the 51st minute for Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino.
Nunez, who moved to Liverpool from Benfica in the summer transfer window, found the back of the net in the 64th minute.
And Match of the Day (MOTD) presenter Lineker was impressed.

Making an impact
In our view, Darwin Nunez played well for Liverpool after coming on as a substitute and made the impact that manager Jurgen Klopp would have wanted him to do.
Nunez is a number 9, and he did his job perfectly by scoring an important goal.
The striker also played his role in the FA Community Shield against Manchester City after coming on as a substitute and was involved in two of the goals that Liverpool scored in that particular match.
It was a disappointing result for Liverpool against Fulham today, but Nunez did well.
