Earlier today, we covered a very cryptic Instagram post from Kiko Casilla, which provoked speculation regarding his future at Leeds.
The 34-year-old wrote a post in Spanish, which was translated by The Square Ball on Twitter – it’s very mysterious, to say the least.
You can see that post below.
Now, after being bombarded with messages regarding the post, Casilla has sent a message to Leeds fans explaining what he meant by the upload.
In response to a post from LUFC Fanzone, the former Real Madrid wrote: ‘Honestly, there are people with very boring lives, I have not said anything bad about the club or my situation, they are personal things, nothing to do with Leeds. #mot‘
The 1-cap Spain international doesn’t clear the issue up entirely, in our view.
Admittedly, he says it was nothing to do with Leeds, but he does concede that it was regarding something in his personal life.

There is every chance that a personal issue of Casilla’s could mean he needs to leave Elland Road. However, that would be speculative, so we’ll refrain from forensically analysing his comments even more.
One thing worth noting is that he seemed keen to come out and address his cryptic post as soon as it led to supporters gossiping.

In our view, that suggests he didn’t want rumours about a potential exit to gather momentum.
Only time will tell if he stays or goes – keep an eye on the situation.
