But Hart is finding that he can always rely on the goalkeepers’ union to stick by him, with ex-England international Chris Kirkland leaping to his defence.
Kirkland insisted there is an agenda against Hart with the criticism going over the top.
Hart is experienced enough to realise that pressure comes with the territory, but this is escalated from his previous scrutiny.
For the first time his place at an international tournament is in jeopardy, and he could be depending on David Moyes keeping his faith in him at club level this coming weekend.
