PSV Eindhoven manager Ruud van Nistelrooy has issued news that former Tottenham prospect Noni Madueke will feature against Arsenal this week in the UEFA Europa League, with the winger yet to play this season due to injury.

Speaking to the press via GBeNeFN, the former Manchester United striker confirmed that Madueke, as well as Mauro Junior and Luuk de Jong, were all in contention to feature in the matchday squad this Thursday against Arsenal, with the PSV trio all currently out on the injury table.

Madueke is yet to play a professional minute this season after picking an ankle injury in the summer that has kept the England youth international out for the entire campaign. However, the former Tottenham wonderkid could now feature against his former north London rival in Arsenal.

The clash at the Emirates Stadium this week is already set to be an entertaining one, with Van Nistelrooy coming up against a club that during his playing days had a bitter rivalry with, with the striker responsible for ending Arsenal’s historic 49-game unbeaten run in one of the most famous results in Premier League history.
