Huddersfield Town’s Aaron Mooy has been linked with a move to Everton.

Australia boss Bert van Marwijk has told Four Four Two that he thinks Huddersfield Town midfielder Aaron Mooy can move on to a bigger English club amid links with a move to Everton.
Mooy, 27, had a fairly low-key start to his career as he spent time with Bolton Wanderers and St Mirren, before heading back to his native Australia with Western Sydney Wanderers and Melbourne City.
Manchester City then raided their sister club to sign Mooy in 2016, but they loaned him straight out to Huddersfield Town – and after driving the Terriers to promotion, that move became permanent last summer.

The midfielder missed just two league games for Huddersfield last season, notching four goals and three assists in an impressive campaign, with interest now allegedly mounting.
The Sun (20 June, page 52) report that both Everton and Southampton are keen to sign Mooy for around £18million this summer, having been impressed with his debut Premier League campaign.
Mooy is currently on international duty with Australia at the World Cup in Russia, and his manager has now responded to the speculation about his star midfielder’s future.

Australia boss Bert van Marwijk has told Four Four Two that he thinks Mooy is a ‘very good player’, and believes he can join an even bigger club in England, such is his quality.
“Very good player, all the players are important,” said Van Marwijk. “I think he’s a very good player and everyone has a good look at him and maybe he can play in England on a higher level,” he added.
It’s unclear whether Mooy would be interested in a move away from the Terriers, but Everton would represent a step up – and new manager Marco Silva would give himself a superb midfield partnership of Mooy and Idrissa Gueye if he can seal a move.
