Will Celtic follow up interest in Rafael van der Vaart?
Rafael van der Vaart has opened up speculation over his future by telling The Sunday Post that he will consider a move to either Celtic or Rangers.
The Dutchman currently plays for Danish side FC Midtjylland after penning a deal in the summer, following a stint with Real Betis last season.
It is unclear if either Glasgow side hold a current interest in Van der Vaart, but Celtic were credited with being keen on a move just over 18 months ago.

German newspaper BILD reported in the summer of 2015 that Celtic were set to enter the race for Van der Vaart’s signature.
It was claimed that Ronny Deila’s Celtic wanted the Dutchman as his time at Hamburg came to an end.
Celtic were unsuccessful in their attempts to bring him aboard, and it remains to be seen whether their interest is still active.

The club have changed manager since their 2015 interest, with new boss Brendan Rodgers favouring an approach focusing on signing younger players.
This was the same in his days as Liverpool manager, and the 33-year-old does not fit into that philosophy.
Van der Vaart has a real touch of quality and could potentially be a big success in Scotland, but he would need to prove he is still worth Rodgers making an exception for.
