Saido Berahino would be an excellent signing for Celtic.
Celtic made an impressive move for Moussa Dembele last summer, beating competition from several European clubs to sign him after his Fulham contract expired.
The striker’s move has been a big success, with Dembele’s prolific form extending to the Champions League, where he has been making a real name for himself.

The repercussions of the move, and Celtic’s European exploits, highlight that the Glasgow giants are an attractive destination for players to take their careers to a new level.
A player who could really benefit from following in Dembele’s footsteps is West Bromwich Albion forward Saido Berahino, whose contract at the Hawthorns runs down this summer.
Berahino is a former England under-21 international who was valued in 2015 at a staggering £25 million by the Baggies, The Mail reported.

Tottenham attempted to buy him, but their bid was in installments and the deal fell through, and Berahino’s frustrations boiled over.
He has spent a tempestuous season and a half at the Hawthorns since, losing his form, his place in the team, and the trust of management Tony Pulis.
He needs a move, and with his contract running down, he is in control of his own destiny.
A move away from the English Premier League and to Celtic could reinvigorate him, and prove a major coup for the Scottish champions if they can get him firing again.

The signing would give Celtic vital cover in case they were tested with a big bid for Moussa Dembele too, and give them more options in attack.
Even more intriguingly, Berahino is a player admired by Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, according to The Mail.
It was reported in 2014 that Berahino was a priority target for Rodgers at Liverpool.
But at Anfield, Rodgers was not in control of his transfer targets, and he was saddled with Mario Balotelli instead. Now at Celtic, he could have the opportunity to get his man in on a free.
