Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic lost to Valencia in the Europa League on Thursday.

Lato was in action for Valencia in the first leg of their Europa League Round of 32 tie against Celtic away from home at Celtic Park on Thursday evening.
The 21-year-old left-back started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the home team lost 2-0.
The Spain Under-21 international has spoken highly of the Celtic Park atmosphere, but he has also suggested that Celtic played into their own hands by doing what their fans wanted them to do – attack.
The Scottish Sun quotes Lato as saying: “We knew we would have to be patient because Celtic were going to press us from the start. Their fans demanded they attack us.
“It was a spectacular stadium and occasion. But we knew if we waited we would eventually get opportunities and that’s exactly what happened.”

Big task in the second leg
With Valencia winning the first leg 2-0 at Celtic Park, Brendan Rodgers’s side will find it hard to overturn that in the second leg in Span.
True, Celtic have what it takes to score one, may be even two goals, at Valencia, but it is hard to see the home team not find the target at least once in their own stadium.
