The Premier League got one over on La Liga this week when Liverpool beat Barcelona 4-0.

Now it is Arsenal’s turn to do the business against Valencia in the Europa League semi-final.

The Gunners are in the complete opposite situation to Liverpool.

They have a 3-1 advantage ahead of the away tie, and enter the game in poor domestic form.

Valencia are hoping to produce a stirring comeback of their own, and sent a tweet out in reaction to Liverpool’s win.

A 2-0 win for the La Liga side would be enough to go through thanks to the away goal.

An early away goal for Arsenal would go a long way to killing off Valencia’s hopes.

An early strike for the Spaniards would make things extremely difficult.
