West Ham United are preparing to say a permanent goodbye to the Italian flop.
Valencia manager Cesare Prandelli has spoken about the impact Simone Zaza could have at the club, as it looks increasingly likely his loan spell at West Ham will end in January.
The La Liga side’s Italian boss told a news conference earlier today, as reported by Football Italia, that he would be leaving the transfer operations up to the board but that he was confident Zaza could have an impact at the Mestalla:
“When I was in Singapore to see [Peter] Lim I told him everything I’ve seen in these past four months.

“The ownership knows everything that I think. I asked for four players to start a new project, we’ll see if we can sign them in January.
“Zaza? When I came here I spoke to Suso about him. I know him very well and he could be important for us, but it’s something the directors will take care of.”
Zaza was signed on loan by West Ham from Juventus in the summer, after the club missed out on several other striking targets.
The Italian international has not looked up to the standard necessary at West Ham in a series of disappointing displays and the Hammers are set to let him leave the club in the New Year.

The 25-year-old has featured in 12 games for West Ham this season but has not managed to score a single goal for the club in those appearances.
Valencia, who are themselves battling just above the relegation zone in Spain, will be hoping they can get the better version of Zaza if they do end up bringing him in come January.
