Kolo Toure played a role in Vakoun Issouf Bayo’s move to Celtic it seems.

Vakoun Issouf Bayo has revealed to The Record that Kolo Toure played a big role in his move to Celtic.
The Hoops signed the Ivorian striker for £2 million [Herald Scotland] in January.
Things haven’t gone exactly to plan for Bayo, who has only played one minute of senior football for Celtic since joining.
The 22-year-old joined during Brendan Rodgers’s reign, and the Northern Irish manager took first-team coach Toure with him to Leicester City last month.
Bayo and Toure are both from the Ivory Coast, and the young marksman has thanked the two-time Premier League champion for his influence in the transfer.
“With the support and advice of Kolo Toure, they [Celtic] did not hesitate to bet on me,” he told The Record. “I want once again to say a big thank you to Kolo because I’m in Scotland because of him.
“I admit that I was pleasantly surprised by the reception that was reserved for me. Everyone was there for me. It is a memory that will long be engraved in my mind.”
It’ll be interesting to see if Bayo can earn more minutes from now until the end of the season.
He also claimed that Rodgers’s exit did him no favours, considering the Leicester boss was the one who brought him to Glasgow, but he stated his confidence that he can ‘convince’ Lennon of his talents.
