And Rosler is excited about the 21-year-old’s arrival at Highbury Stadium, suggesting that he has all the attributes required to be a major success with the side.
“Lewie fits into the Fleetwood Town DNA. With that I mean the mentality, athleticism, game understanding and technique,” he told the club’s official website.
“Myself and Rob know Lewie really well from our time at Leeds. He is a very exciting player who has played in the Championship and Leeds trust us to develop their player. I’m sure Lewie will grow and show his attributes and get better with each game he plays.”
Leeds fans will surely be delighted about the prospect of Coyle getting some regular first-team football under his belt, especially as it is with a club that came so close to reaching the Championship last season as they reached the play-off semi-final, so will surely have plenty of ambition for the new season.
And they will surely be encouraged by Rosler’s comments, as Coyle has undoubtedly shown some promise when he has featured for the team over the last couple of seasons, so this loan move could be the ideal opportunity for the youngster to take his game to another level – especially as he appears set to work with a manager who is fully aware of his potential.
