‘It’s unreal’: Some Arsenal fans ‘fuming’ at what they saw with Wolves player

Arsenal fans were left seething after Adama Traore didn’t see red for pushing Burnley midfielder, Jack Cork, in the face on Sunday.

In December, Granit Xhaka rightly saw red for grabbing Burnley’s Ashley Westwood by the neck – Arsenal ended up losing the game 1-0.

But fast forward to the weekend, and Traore was involved in a heated moment with the Burnley players during Wolves’ 4-0 defeat against Sean Dyche’s men.

The 25-year-old speedster shoved Cork in the face, and after a VAR review, he only received a yellow card – cue the anger from the Arsenal supporters.

In a not too dissimilar situation, Xhaka was told to have an early shower but when Arsenal fans see similar events unfold months later, with different circumstances, it’s understandable why questions are going to be asked.

VAR hasn’t been favourable to anyone this season, but Arsenal fans will feel they have felt the brunt of the bad stuff during this COVID-hit campaign.

From that David Luiz sending off against Wolves to offside calls during their defeat to Everton last Friday.

It’s all going wrong for those in North London this term.
