It looks like Liverpool might not have potentially their best player available for Sunday.

The Reds get their Premier League season back underway this weekend with a trip to Everton for a Merseyside derby.

Liverpool have a 22-point lead at the top of the Premier League table and although they can’t win the title at Goodison Park, they can move to the brink.

But they might have to do so without Mo Salah available.

According to The Standard, Salah, a £35 million signing in 2017, was absent from training at Melwood yesterday.

And here’s how fans of the Anfield club reacted on Twitter:

It’ll be a big blow to be without Salah, but Liverpool, who put out a fringe XI against Everton in the FA Cup and still won, should have too much for the Toffees all the same.
