Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left frustrated after an inconsistent VAR decision in Wolves’ match against Leeds United last night.
Raul Jimenez appeared to kick out at Robin Koch during the contest, but he escaped all punishment after the incident was reviewed.
Heung-Min Son had done similar for Tottenham against Chelsea last season, but he was sent off.
And Spurs fans feel that Jimenez not receiving a red made no sense and once again highlighted the inconsistent officiating at the top level.
Tottenham have had their fair share of VAR controversy since it was introduced to football.
And this latest incident just adds to the frustration around the way the system is being used.
Jimenez actually had the decisive say in last night’s game, as it was his deflected strike which won the game for his side, and fired Wolves above Tottenham in the Premier League standings.
