A report claims Leeds United could turn to the Liverpool goalkeeper if Andy Lonergan moves on.

Leeds United could turn to Liverpool’s Adam Bodgan if Andy Lonergan leaves for Sunderland, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The report claims Sunderland, whose coach Kit Symons signed Lonergan for Fulham in 2015, have made an enquiry for the Leeds goalkeeper.

It adds, however, that Lonergan will only be sold if a replacement can be sourced, and Bogdan is said to be on Leeds’ radar.

And despite his vast Championship and international experience, it’s fair to say that talk of the Hungarian’s arrival has failed to set the pulses racing in Leeds.
