Some Arsenal fans on Twitter have reacted to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s latest performance for Liverpool.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, who joined the Reds from Arsenal in a £40 million deal in 2017, started last night’s defeat by Burnley at Anfield.

But the 27-year-old struggled to impose himself on the game and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp took him off after 57 minutes for Mo Salah.

The former Gunners star hasn’t had a good season under Klopp, it has to be said.

Although he only returned from injury a few months ago, Oxlade-Chamberlain simply no longer looks the same player that he once did on Merseyside.

And here’s how some Arsenal supporters reacted to his latest outing on Twitter:

Oxlade-Chamberlain’s last Premier League start of the season also resulted in a 1-0 defeat, losing to Southampton earlier in the month.

The England international’s three-and-a-half year spell has been punctuated by regular injuries, but there’s no denying that from a financial perspective, the £40 million Arsenal received for him is a fine piece of business.
