Don Hutchison thinks Everton-bound, Frank Lampard, will push for Chelsea duo, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley, as he told ESPN.
Everton are set to appoint Lampard as their new manager, just over a year after Chelsea sacked him, as reported by Sky Sports.
The former England midfielder walks into a team that is devoid of confidence and a fanbase that has lost faith with those in the boardroom.
Whilst Everton haven’t officially confirmed the Lampard deal, there’s no doubt that, in the background, he will be trying to get some deals over the line before Monday’s deadline.
And ex-Everton midfielder, Hutchison, thinks two players at Stamford Bridge might just be on his radar.
“I think he might make a move for maybe Loftus-Cheek or Ross Barkley because I think Everton are struggling,” said Hutchison.
“Doucouré, I think picked up a thigh injury in the last game, so they are light in that department.
“Use his contacts, as I said before, if it’s Frank Lampard, then he can go to Chelsea and bring Loftus-Cheek and Ross Barkley. Another former Everton player.
“And just get away from that bottom zone.”

It would be something if Barkley returned to Goodison Park given that he left for Chelsea under a dark cloud.
But, in this current situation, all Everton fans want is players fighting for the badge and hope that they can move forward.
If someone like Barkley is signed up, and he starts delivering the goods, then all of those past issues will be behind him.
Either way, this job is going to be far more difficult than Lampard thinks and his first Premier League game will be away at Newcastle.
