USA fans react on Twitter to Tottenham Hotspur's Cameron Carter-Vickers' latest display

USA supporters have delivered mixed views on Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers performance last night.

USA took on Italy in a friendly with Carter-Vickers featuring for the full contest, and the Spurs man’s display divided opinion.

USA fell to a 1-0 defeat in the last minute, with Matteo Politano striking a dramatic winner.

And while some US fans were impressed with Carter-Vickers, others felt that the Spurs man struggled.

Tottenham are currently keeping a close eye on Carter-Vickers, as the time is drawing nearer to when they will have to make a decision over his future.

The centre-back has shown plenty of promise, but has generally been loaned out by Tottenham throughout his career to date.

The youngster is currently on a temporary spell with Swansea City, as he looks to gain first-team experience.

The Spurs academy graduate has made just four appearances in the Championship so far this season.
