Tottenham Hotspur-owned Cameron Carter-Vickers continued where he left off with Sheffield United.

Tottenham Hotspur-owned Cameron Carter-Vickers made his long-awaited debut for the United States on Tuesday, and continued where he left off with Sheffield United.
Carter-Vickers was summoned from the bench half-way through the USA’s 1-1 draw with Portugal, kept a clean sheet and was a goalline clearance away from getting on the scoresheet.

The Tottenham product has helped Sheffield United to second in the Championship during his season-long loan spell, prompting strong calls for his inclusion back in his father’s homeland.
And for many, the decision to hand Carter-Vickers his debut was too little too late for the USMNT, who have already failed to qualify for next summer’s World Cup finals in Russia – resulting in Bruca Arena’s resignation as manager.
