Uruguay looked a flat and un-motivated side against Colombia without Liverpool striker Luis Suarez leading the line.
Fernando Muslera 6 – Played well making some good saves, could do nothing about two excellent goals.
Maximiliano Pereira 6 – Had a relatively ok game, nearly scored as well if it wasn’t for a great save from David Ospina.
Jose Maria Gimenez 5 – Looked out of sorts at the back and couldn’t handle all the Colombia pressure being thrown his way.
Diego Godin 5 – Terrible game, couldn’t keep up with the pace of the game and gave away plenty of fouls.
Martin Caceres 6 – Played as best he could, passed well and tackled ok, but was just completely outclassed today.
Alvaro Pereira 6 – Pereira couldn’t quite grasp a hold of the game today and went missing on occasions.
Alvaro Rafael Gonzalez 6 – Much like Alvaro Pereira, spent most of the game watching it, like the rest of us.
Egidio Arevalo Rios 6 – Made some really good tackles and always kept going but was just outnumbered in midfield.
Cristian Rodriguez 7 – Uruguay’s only stand out player, gave it his all and played with plenty of spirit.
Diego Forlan 4 – Terrible game, barely had any hold over the it and did absolutely nothing up front.
Edinson Cavani 6 – You could see the class was there, but much like his World Cup, he spent the game frustrated.

Gastón Ramírez 5 – After coming on, really made no influence and kept the game at much the same as it was.
Christian Stuani 5 – Came on at the same time as the Southampton man and much like him, added nothing to the game.
