The Colombia international would be a great signing for Liverpool.
Liverpool fans took to Twitter today, and called for their club to sign Real Madrid-owned James Rodriguez, following their failed move for Lyon ace Nabil Fekir.
The Colombia international is currently in the midst of a two-year loan spell with German giants Bayern Munich, and he proved to be a real hit at the Allianz Arena, chalking up eight goals and 14 assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.
Bayern do have an option to buy Rodriguez, and they could make his switch a permanent one for the price of £37 million, according to the Daily Mail.
Nothing is set in stone as yet, however, and Liverpool could certainly ruffle a few feathers if they went in with a big offer for the skilful winger this summer.
Rodriguez joined Madrid from Monaco in the summer of 2014, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £71 million, according to BBC Sport.
It will be vitally important for Jürgen Klopp to strengthen his attacking options this summer, not just because the Reds failed to bring Nabil Fekir to Anfield, but also because they are still yet to replace the recently departed Philippe Coutinho.
