Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has raved about his Spurs teammate Harry Kane in The Athletic.

Son has said that his Tottenham teammate Kane is the best striker in the world.

The South Korea international forward has pointed out that although Kane started last season slowly, the 28-year-old banged in the goals when it mattered.

Kane scored 17 goals and gave nine assists in 36 Premier League starts for Spurs last season.

Antonio Conte’s side finished fourth in the Premier League last season and will play in the UEFA Champions League in 2022-23.

Son Heung-min on Tottenham Hotspur teammate Harry Kane

Son told The Athletic about Kane: “We talked about this last season – Harry didn’t score at the start of the season but how many goals did he finish with?

“Goals with Harry I think there is no doubt. We don’t have to worry about him scoring goals because he is, for me, the best partner, the best striker in the world still. He’s working hard, he’s an unselfish player.”

Big player

In our view, Harry Kane is the most important player at Tottenham Hotspur and will be key in Antonio Conte’s side succeeding next season.

Spurs will be aiming to finish in the Premier League top four again next season, and they will be determined to make an impact in the UEFA Champions League as well.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and is a lethal finisher.

The Tottenham and England international striker has scored 183 goals and created 67 chances in 282 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
