Tottenham fans spoke in awe of Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones and the performance he put in for his side at Anfield on Wednesday night.

Despite it being such a big game, with the potential to either stay at the top of the Premier League table or go top, Liverpool’s man in the middle seemingly stood up above all during his side’s win.

Even Tottenham fans were realising what Jones was producing on the pitch, as his mazy run in the first half did result in Mo Salah opening the scoring.

A selection of Spurs fans made it clear that those at Liverpool have a top-quality player on their hands going by yesterday’s showing.

Some backed him to go all the way, as the teenager stuck his chest out against a combative, aggressive and hungry Jose Mourinho side.

At the start of the season, Jones wasn’t a regular for Liverpool, but injuries to his teammates have helped his cause because it has allowed him to have this regular chance and he has grasped it with both hands.

It’s not just in England’s top-flight where Jones is doing bits, he has been producing the goods in the Champions League also.

Nonetheless, the Spurs fans liked what they saw from the ball-carrying attacking teenager, who is just yet another academy product coming through:
