Some Leeds United fans think Jordan Stevens has got an excellent loan move away from Elland Road.
It was announced earlier this week that Swindon Town had signed the 20-year-old Whites winger on a season-long loan.
This is the youngster’s first move away from Leeds since joining from Forest Green Rovers two years ago.
And therefore, it’ll be his first real taste of men’s football on a regular basis as he gears up for a stint in League One.
Stevens, who spent last season in Leeds’ Under-23 side, is a highly-rated prospect at Thorp Arch.
And here’s how fans of the Elland Road club reacted to Victor Orta loaning him out.
Stevens, who has made his debut for the club but is yet to start in a competitive game, is well-known to Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa, who took him on a pre-season trip to Australia last summer.
In fact, the youngster was one of only 16 players on the plane, illustrating that the veteran Argentine coach is a fan.
Bielsa has a lot on his mind these days, with United being a Premier League outfit, but no doubt he and Orta will be keeping a watchful eye on Stevens’s progress in the third tier.
