Jude Bellingham has stated that reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham has been ‘unreal’ in Germany, as he told England’s official YouTube channel.
The 17-year-old is thriving in Dortmund’s colours, alongside the light-footed trickster, whose performances have alerted those around Europe.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano told Que Golazo Podcast in December that Sancho will leave BVB in the summer, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United all keen on his services.
This is what Bellingham had to say about his club and country teammate, Sancho.
“What he has done in Germany has been unreal,” said Bellingham. “His numbers and his performances. You see all the attention that he has attracted.
“As a person, somebody to be around in the dressing room, he has been brilliant. He has put his arm around me since day one and looked after me. I cannot thank him enough.”
It will be interesting if Sancho does return home this summer because there are a number of clubs vying for his signature.
Liverpool don’t need him because they have Mohamed Salah putting opposition players on their backside, but if he leaves or if the Reds decide that serious depth is needed then Sancho would be an ideal player to push for.
But with Jurgen Klopp’s men worrying about losing their Champions League status next season then losing that might just prove to hurt them in the summer transfer market.
