Leeds United’s Under-23 side eased to a 2-0 victory over Wolves this afternoon.

Senior star Rodrigo was the hero by scoring both goals as he continues to make his way back to full fitness following injury.

But some Leeds fans were left drooling over another player during this afternoon’s victory.

Charlie Allen ran the show for the West Yorkshire club in midfield and looks another serious product coming through the club’s Thorp Arch academy.

The 17-year-old Northern Irish ace joined Leeds from Linfield last summer and it looks like Victor Orta has plucked another gem for the Whites.

Here’s how some United fans reacted to his performance today:

With Leeds being a Premier League side now – and for the foreseeable future it seems – Marcelo Bielsa has less room to experiment, meaning less room to use young prospects like he did with Jack Clarke during the 2018-19 campaign.

But Allen is certainly one to keep an eye on over the coming years.
